Governance Framework
The structure, rules, and oversight mechanisms governed by Regulatory Bodies for each region to ensure market-wide equity and trust.
Council Oversight
InsurerLink operates under the direct mandate of Regulatory Bodies for each region. This ensures that the platform serves the collective interest of the insurance market rather than any single entity. These Regulatory Bodies define the data sharing protocols, security requirements, and membership criteria.
Multi-Stakeholder Board
Decisions regarding platform evolution and data rules are made by a representative body of industry leaders and regulators.
Compliance Audits
Regular third-party audits ensure that all member insurers comply with the data integrity and security standards set by the Council.
Ethical Data Use
The governance framework strictly prohibits the use of platform data for:
- Direct marketing or poaching of customers
- Price-fixing or anti-competitive behavior
- Unauthorized disclosure to third-party entities
Dispute Resolution
In cases where data accuracy is contested or access is denied, the Council provides a formal dispute resolution mechanism. This ensures that all market participants and policyholders are treated fairly and transparently.
